Wondering what a /now page is?

👋 Greetings from a cold London 🥶

Things have been getting really busy (as they always tend to around this time of year)

  • I started a leadership & management course at work
  • We had a screening for the film I recorded and edited at the LGBTQ+ centre in London (big success). Organised by my good friend Katie Goldfinch. You can learn more about the whole project here (and even watch the film).
  • I’ve done a series of shoot days for a documentary film I’ll be putting together in the new year with Jo Rush, Alan Darbyshire, and Curtis Holder.
  • I’ve been really getting back into video as a medium and figuring out how to finally utilise the best of my iPhone 15 Pro camera. I also recently grabbed the lifetime deal with Audiio - which is really exciting! Hoping to put out a few more videos in 2026.
  • New obsession just dropped: watches

Lots of exciting movement is happening externally, when much of this year has been internal movement. It’s been a really nice change of pace.

Not only is it busy in terms of schedule, but it’s also the time of year when you realise you want a refresh of digital systems. So I’ve been starting to clear some of those decks, to make it actually possible.

We’ll be spending Christmas and the New Year in France this year, and we have a trip to Paris in November. So I really want to make sure I sort this iPhone filming rig out before that happens!

Other than that, I’ve just been surrendering to my calendar and trying to finally tidy my to-do list (it’s become unruly)

Freelance-wise: I've set a high bar for what client work I'll say yes to, but generally, I'm not taking on any work right now.

Reading

I've been tracking what I've been reading:

Books I Want to Read in 2025
How I decided what to read this year after setting the goal. To make sure I don’t go down just one path, I’ve made a list of things/areas I value so that book titles can apply to this.

You can stay up to date for my 2025 reading goals here.
