Me in 10 seconds: I’m William Davy, a curious human and creative thinker living in London. I’m drawn to good stories, thoughtful design, and the quieter details that make life rich. This space is where I share ideas, projects, and the things that move me.
The longer version: I’m a maker, marketer, and artist. I studied music, but somehow ended up working as a digital marketer at a thoughtful little tour company based in Bath. Love those guys.
I get excited about cold coffee (especially first thing), stories, and anything vaguely Tolkien-related. One day, I hope to run the Hobbiton Marathon in New Zealand—preferably in costume 😉
I started with photography and everything else grew from there. I love the craft/mechanics of video work, I enjoy helping people express their identity through websites, I love talking to people about their digital set ups and optimising my own digital & physical space.
My artistic expression was once music, but these days it's now in the written word - which leads us perfectly to... 👇
What is this place?
This site began after reading Show Your Work by Austin Kleon. I wanted a space that felt like mine, not shaped by social media, where I could collect ideas, share projects, and think out loud. Somewhere I could show up quietly, for me and not an algorithm. And to share the things that have helped me along the way.
Things I love
Though I love tech, I’ve been slowly reintroducing analogue into my life, starting with the ever-handy: pocket notebook. That habit has turned into a daily journaling practice that’s been kinda life-changing??
